Article Abstract:
Cabochon is made by cutting and grinding an oval-shaped stone. The stone is shaped to a smooth curve using a 110-grit wheel. It should be washed first before further polishing with a 220-grit wheel. Final polishing is done by using a leather or felt buffing wheel.
