Torch-drawn Moretti tube beads
Article Abstract:
Steps on making Moretti tube beads using a torch are presented. Air must first be captured in the center of the gather. A long and hollow tube is created when the gather is pulled into a cane, which stretches the trapped air along the glass. The beads are produced when the long tube is cut into small sections.
