Criteria for selecting stamp subjects
Article Abstract:
The US Postal Service is in partnership with the Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee in the selection of commemoration subjects on US stamps and stationery. The set of criteria currently in use was first formulated in conjunction with the postal reorganization in the early 1970s.
