Watermelon tourmaline is synonymous with elbaite in the gem world. This gem comes in many colors and shades such as pink, red, green, blue and even blue-green. Multicolored tourmalines, however, are more rare and usually found in Brazil, Nigeria, Madagascar and the state of Maine.
