First official airship mail in Europe in 35 years
Article Abstract:
The first mail transportation by zeppelin since 1939 occurred in September 1974 when the Goodyear airship 'Europa' carried mail from Linz to Vienna and from Vienna to Salzburg on two separate flights. The flights were part a celebration for the 25th anniversary of SOS-Childrens Villages.

The joy of collecting modern cancellations
Article Abstract:
Local post offices are allowed to purchase cancelling devices. Collecting covers with cancellations is a worthwhile hobby. Various types of self-inking devices exist and variations in postmarks can be noted. Technology will eventually eliminate the need for such devices.
