Article Abstract:
Manfred Wild's creation of a fabulous case for a ship's chronometer reveals how much he values the shipboard's navigational clock. The case was carved in quartz and trimmed with aquamarine, diamond and gold. The lid is engraved with an image and a mirror image of the Cutty Sark.
