Two excellent books for philatelic research are "The Post Offices of Maine: A Rarity Guide," and a book on Russian postal history," The Philatelist Guide to Maps, Atlases and Gazetteers of Russia." Another book, "Summer in the Balkans," is discussed along with a monogram on Dutch stamps.

Now's the time to dust off collections
Article Abstract:
There is a wealth of published material on stamp collecting in books, magazines and monographs. Unfortunately there is a relatively small distribution of this material to stamp enthusiasts. Several philatelic organizations and their journals and bulletins are discussed.
