Fly fishermen have resorted to the use of strong gaff men equipped with safety harnesses and unusual gaffs made of water-pipe or stainless steel to free gaff marlin weighing hundred of pounds and which are stronger than the fishermen. The fine points of tackling billfish are also presented.
