Article Abstract:
The 20th edition of the Bertram-Hatteras Shootout proved to be the biggest and the most spectacular of all past Shootouts. The blue marlin angling competition, started in 1980 by Jim Schaefer and Hutch Hutchengs, was won in 1999 by Tony Frascone of Newburyport, MA, aboard a Hatteras 60.

Tarpon time
Article Abstract:
Brunswick entered four boats in the 1995 Boca Grande Tarpon Tournament, which has been called the world's richest tarpon tournament because of its $100,000 prize. The two-day competition is held over a tarpon-rich area called 'The Hole' off Florida's Gulf coast.

Article Abstract:
Jim LaBar won the 1993 Bertram-Hatteras Shootout with a 682-lb marlin that he fought for almost four hours from his Bertram 46. A total of 59 boats took part in the tournament.
