The Tamron 200-400mm f/5.6 LD AF zoom lens has a rubberized ring which can be easily gripped and features dot matching points for horizontal and vertical positions. In laboratory trials, the lens attained above average and good results were recorded in SQF performance while field trials resulted in crisp and contrasty slides at maximum aperture and minimal softness at field edges.
