Wrobel puts a new spin on underwater photography, by photographing denizens of aquariums, which he calls his 'dry underwater' technique. He gets great shots using standard single-lens reflex equipment. Wrobel's own explanation of his techniques, and recommendations for emulating them, are included.

A dry sense of humor is at work in Karen Glaser's underwater views

Glaser is a professional photographer and devoted swimmer. She used a Nikonos V to show people at play underwater in a suburban swimming pool in her hometown of Chicago, IL. She has created a series of 20x24-inch black-and-white images from this experience.
