The Marigold M.F.B: Combining radial and star facet arrangements
Article Abstract:
Step-by-step procedure of faceting the star crown with slightly skewed, vertically spilt mains and a star facet and table arrangement burrowed from the Standard Round Brilliant is discussed. The Marigold M.F.B. (Multi-Facet Brilliant) gets its surname from its radial facet arrangement, which is based on the Portuguese Cut Round.

Dark star three: Expanding brilliance and scintillation

Design of Dark Star series of brilliants, features simple, 16 facets pavilions and low, six fold crowns. The original idea was to expand the potential range of sizes these materials could be cut in and at the time preserving brilliance and scintillation.
