Article Abstract:
A history of Chinese air mail service is presented, including descriptions of some of the air mail stamps. It is suggested tht the stamp collector divide the air post of China into 4 groups. First group is the earliest flights, and the others groups are the three companies which pioneered the flights.

Cover flown on Air Corps 1934 experiment
Article Abstract:
An envelop with a cancellation date of 1934 is a reminder of the first attempt by the Air Force to deliver air mail that year. Pres Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered government contracts. But fatalities and problems highlighted the state of the Air Force and resulted in new planes.

The first US Postal Service jet air mail service was from Toronto, Canada to New York, NY in Apr 1950. Descriptions of the first-day covers from jet service are provided.
