Budgeting in High-Tech Times: Cultivating a New Perspective
Article Abstract:
The net result of the recent national focus on education is that school revenues are starting to rise in many states. Most of the new monies will go to increasing teacher salary to attract and retain talented people. The remainder will go to supporting the traditional infrastructure, unless a new perspective is developed to encourage the use of new technologies.

USPS will honor Raoul Wallenberg in 1997
Article Abstract:
Wallenberg died in a Soviet prison camp in 1947. The move to honor him with a postage stamp was applauded by Rep Tom Lantos of California who is the only survivor of the Nazi genocide who is a member of Congress. He along with his wife, were saved by Wallenberg.
