Will the endangered species stamps sell out?
Article Abstract:
The United Nations issued sheets of stamps in Mar 1993 that depict endangered species. A total of 900,000 sheets were issued and are divided equally into three different currencies. Other UN Postal Administration issues are described.

The United Nations did not have a large exhibit at the Postage Stamp Mega-Event in Oct 1992. The Mission to Planet Earth stamp issued in US currency sold out. A history of the two-cent stamp issued in the 1950s is presented.

The removal of UN peace-keeping forces from Cyprus in Dec 1992 meant that a good source of first day covers about the peace keeping forces would no longer exist. Other issues by the United Nations post office are discussed.
