Uncle Mistletoe and his Christmas collection

One of Marshall Fields' sought-after Christmas collections is Uncle Mistletoe. Introduced by the store in 1946, these collectibles were inspired by Charles Dickens' Arabian Nights. The character became famous since then, that a TV program was launched for it.

Charming kewpies

The original Kewpie dolls were imported from Germany and manufactured by George Borgfeldt and Co. of New York City. They came in a variety of costumes, and were even used as amulets in World War I for good luck in battle.
