Tommy Simpson, a craftsman making furniture and carved paintings gives literal sense to his works, which makes him distinct from many other craftsmen. Some of Simpson's most riveting works are carved reliefs of organic forms painted in subtly modulated palettes.

Thomas Gentille

Thomas Gentille's exhibition at Helen Drutt in Philadelphia, PA showcases Gentille's craftmanship in the art of jewelry making. Most of Gentille's works include pins and brooches made from aluminum and from Surell, a Formica plastic product.

Billie Jean Theide
