A tale of two gardens
Article Abstract:
A gardener unites two different Japanese-style gardens to create a distinctive style that incorporates Zen aesthetics, Japanese design, and the artist's imagination. Subtle foliage color, mosses, stones and bridges emphasize a Zen garden's disciplined and austere sensibilities. Flowering plants and variety of terrain are elements that appear in Japanese gardens that are intended to mimic nature.

Despite the entire benefits green roofs offer, they are not more widespread because most American cities are not prepared for green roof technology.
