All about the view
Article Abstract:
The location of the Rosbruchs' condo in Monmouth, on the New Jersey shore was the strongest feature but there were too many rooms blocking the view of the marina, hence to improve their home's flow and orient the public rooms towards the water, Rosbruchs hired interior designer Betty Wasserman along with architect Glenn Leitch. In the resulting layout, living and dining areas stretch along 48 feet of an outside wall and were artfully placed to frame the most attractive aspects of the view.

Lofty ideas: HGTV's top designer makes the most of a soaring space
Article Abstract:
Candice Olsen, HGTV's top designer altered the living room of a loft style condo, for a couple who wanted to use it as a photography room. Olsen first covered the ceiling-high windows with semisheer blinds, colored the bleak wall opposite the fireplace, changed the location of the dining table near the living room, made changes to unite the kitchen and living area, added new pieces of furniture and transformed the condo.
