Article Abstract:
Arturo Alonzo Sandoval, who was born into a family of Hispanic American weavers, forces the viewer to reconsider the relationship between craft and spirituality- a radical idea, yet one that has its roots in many forms of non- European art. In his exhibition, subtitled 'Expanding Realms', the viewer first encounters five Triangular works in Sandoval's 'Meditation seriesE, made in 2001.

Artists Roberta and David Williamson based their prodigous pin works on the bliss of rural life. The pins made by the couple are assembled from various materials, combining metals with natural products such as seashells.
