A wooden bird feeder with a feeding platform and a wide slanting roof can be made from scrap plywood and cedar lap siding. Sep-by-step instructions are given for the construction. A list of materials, and a cutting list are provided. The feeder measures 10 in tall, 20 in long and 16 in wide.

Step-by-step instructions are given for making the compost bin. Wood needed includes cedar posts, cedar 2x2s and cedar fence boards. A list of cutting dimensions keyed to a diagram is provided. The bin is open at the tops with a gate made as one of the four sides. It is 27 inches high.

Instruction are provided for building a hanging bird feeder. Caution is advised in selection of the wood. Treated wood should be avoided since the peeking birds may ingest the chemicals. The feeder is open on two sides and has a plywood slated roof.
