Du Paquier Vienna
Article Abstract:
Claudius Innocentius du Paquier was famous for the porcelain he created in the early 1700s. His works rivaled those made by Meissen, and this is not surprising since du Paquier hired several workers from Meissen. The factory had financial difficulties, and was sold to Archduchess Maria Theresa in 1744. Pieces made by du Paquier are described.
