Easy access: Creating a bath for all ages and abilities
Article Abstract:
Some principles of a proper Universal Design (UD) where wheel chair accessibility is a key part are described, ensuring that a space or a product is safe and easy for anyone to use, regardless of ability. UD principles encourage open, airy rooms, promote access, ensure stability, clear the way, create a wash-up area that works for all, simplify tub and toilet use, and illuminate the rooms properly.

Wild orchids across North America
Article Abstract:
Orchids grow naturally in a wide range of regions despite their reputation as rare, exotic plants requiring human pampering. More genera and species of orchids are found in the US and Canada than in Asia or Europe. In most regions, orchids growing in the wild are protected, and many are so habitat-specific that transplanting them in another area will kill them.
