Cooking for a large crowd is not a simple task. It not only requires care during the cooking process, but also after. One can have practical and safe meals by planning the menu carefully, getting the right equipment and preparing the appropriate foods in advance. In addition, care should be taken in the preparation of the food.

Independence Day celebrations in West Franklin Street in Richmond, Virginia are affairs which involve the whole block. The tradition began over two decades ago when neighbors got together to plan a party the whole block would enjoy. It has now become an annual tradition every July 4th.
