Article Abstract:

The 'Nude in Clay' was an exhibition of works made by 21 sculptors. The pieces which were made from ceramics and porcelains represent the nude as an embodiment of a full range of human emotions from eroticism to mortality, and from pain to nurturance.

Melissa Zink

Article Abstract:

Zink says her interactive sculptures allow even exchanges between artist and viewer. Zink was previously a painter, and thinks her current medium provides investigation of aesthetic and psychological complexities of dynamic relationships.
