Fragrant hostas
Article Abstract:
An overview is presented of the plant Hosta plantaginea, also known as the autumn lily, fragrant plantain, or August Lily. Although this breed of hosta is from the northern US states, and thrives in the Lower and Coastal areas of America's south, and it is the only hosta whose flowers open in the late afternoon.

An alternative to traditional fencing is to use an espalier, which is a lattice work with trees or shrubs trained to grow along it. Trees need to be chosen carefully with wide-spreading limbs or weeping varieties that will naturally follow horizontal lines.
