Article Abstract:
A project to decorate the top floors of a New Orleans town house once occupied by William Faulkner is described. The original cypress floors and staircase were retained, and the rooms were filled with French antiques.

Mary Cooper restored an abandoned 1800's center-hall cottage that had been relocated to New Orleans, LA. She decorated the cottage with treasures from salvage yards and with castoffs from friends.
