Television stars Ron and Natalie Daise portrays their island's culture in television's series "Gullah Gullah Island". The TV series brought pride to the culture and language of Gullah People, who were West African slaves with descendants in South Carolina and Georgia.

A new look at lentils
Article Abstract:
Salad, pie and soup recipes with lentils as the main ingredient are presented. The recipes originate from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries where lentils are commonly used. Aside from being common and inexpensive, lentils have a very short cooking time.
