A kitchen was remodeled in such a way so as to accommodate two cooks and have areas tailored as per each person's culinary specialties along with independent prep areas. The new kitchen has a French country look, where the poplar cabinets were given a taupe-gray paint and sanded in some areas for an antique finish and also included pantry closet situated at the back door, floor-to-ceiling cabinet for storing china and silver and a dishwasher, which is easily reachable.
