Leon Hamrick's garden yields a variety of produce. Beans, tomatoes, squash and other produce are grown on soil which Hamrick has tilled with shredded leaves and fertilizer for 30 years. His family has become experts at preserving the bountiful yields of their quarter-acre garden.

The bricks or stones from a garden wall become loose or at times the cement splits, in such a case some small tiny plants can be planted in these gaps that enhance the look of the garden. Thus, ten simple tips are discussed for planting in such gaps.
