Foresight: the sage continues

The UK's first Technology Foresight exercise has resulted in the publication of 15 volumes detailing possible developments in technology and likely market trends over the next 10-20 years. This information will be particularly valuable to companies which cannot afford to employ consultants to produce reports on likely future trends. The next move will be for companies to devise strategies for implementing new technoloyg policies.

Golfer Stanovich was best known for his rotund build and impressive gambling skills in the 1950s. Stanovich never joined the professional golf tour, instead opting for a golf-gambling career that netted him a higher income than the tour could provide. He died at the age of 76 on Oct 24, 1991.

Ivorex

Ivorex wall plaques are 3-dimensional and often depict scenes from old history books. They were mostly created by Arthur Osborne of Oare, England, after he joined J.G. Low Art Tile Works of Chelsea, MA, in 1879.
