Article Abstract:
Origin and Synthesis: Selected Weavings by Janice Lessman-Moss, organized by Anne Bissonette, curator at the Kent State University Museum in Ohio presented 10 digital power-loom weavings made by Janice Lessman-Moss, a prolific artist. The exhibition also included hand-loomed-either on the TC-1 digital hand Jacquard loom or a dobby loom, so as to compare the two approaches to see how each has informed and influenced the other.
