Jessica Loughlin
Article Abstract:
Jessica Loughlin's first one-person exhibition held at Portland "Bullseye Connection Gallery" focuses the well-worn craft-world saw of Japanese Zen-minimalism into what becomes her own expansive form of landscape art. The most compelling works in the show were Vertical Lines, a series of scroll like wall reliefs, sometimes hung singly, sometimes in suites of three to five.

Chunghie Lee
Article Abstract:
South Korean artist Chunghie Lee has experimented with a variety of media for some 20 years, but generally she seems to prefer the use of fabric in her work. In particular, Lee has made use of the Korean pojagi, or a cloth used by women to carry and wrap goods. Lee's exhibit, and her career are discussed.
