The backyard playground requires about 16' x 30' of space and consists of a two-level tower with safety railings, ladders, monkey bars, a fireman's pole, a sandbox, and a slide. Materials cost between $800 and $1000. Instructions for building the playground are detailed and illustrated.

Hammer-powered nail gun

The Pearson's Nailer was a hand-held shingle nailer first patented in 1892. The device fed nails from a hopper, through slots, into position beneath a plunger. A hammer blow to the plunger would set the nail in a shingle.

Mr. Bunny clothes hanger

A clothes hanger resembling a bunny rabbit with a bow tie and concertina is made from a 3/4- x 24- x 24-inch sheet of pine wood. MDF plywood or grade A-B or A-C plywood can also be used. Construction directions are given.
