Keeping burglars out of the garage
Article Abstract:
Burglars often find it easy to break into garages. However there are a number of easy and inexpensive ways to make garages more secure. Entry doors and doors leading from the garage to the house should be made secure, as should overhead garage doors. These and other security methods are discussed.

Door openers bought before 1982 can be overcome by electronic scanners but several new advanced products are now on the market. They include automatic sensing devices to lift up the door if it touches something, signal blocks to thwart burglars, and devices to make manual opening safer.
