The National Wildflower Research Center in Austin, TX, has been attracting visitors from all over the country owing to its lovely landscape and unique architecture. Founded by Lady Bird Johnson as part of her campaign to preserve native plants, the 42-acre site boasts of a display of wildflowers and native plants.

The Battle Above the Clouds

The Battle Above the Grounds is a yearly re-enactment of the American life during the 1861-1865 civil war at the Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain and Missionary Ridge. The event highlights the aggression of the Union forces, which marked the defeat of the Confederates.
