Let's go to Luckenbach
Article Abstract:
The town of Luckenbach, Texas, has a population of three, but continues to be a music mecca, since folk humorist Hondo Crouch bought the town for US$30,000 in 1970, and the song "Luckenbach, Texas," became a hit. The 10-acre town was established as a trading post in 1849.
