Lilies for hot Southern summers
Article Abstract:
Growing lilies during summers in Southern States requires the removal, to a 20-inch depth, of the characteristic clay soil and filling in of new multilayered soil. Different lily species and varieties can thrive in hot conditions with this scheme. An illustration of the different soil layers is presented.
