The National Association of the Remodeling Industry's RemodelAmerica '97 Convention held in Philadelphia, PA, on March 14-16 highlighted the wares and services of companies seeking business from builders and designers. Many of the booths featured software and related computer technologies in an attempt to meet design automation needs. Labor Ready advertised its temporary job service for qualified construction personnel. Payless Cashway exhibited in an attempt to gain more professional remodeler business and plans to make and market more wall panels and I-joists for contracting needs.
