Room for birds
Article Abstract:
Only 86 of the 796 bird species in North America seek some kind of 'cavity' for nesting. Where there are no birdhouses, they use trees or dead wood. The dimensions of man-made birdhouses dictate what kinds of birds will use it. The houses also require ventilation and a way for birds to clean them.
