There are several vegetables, herbs and fruits that need not be segregated in a suburban-style vegetable patch and can be grown together with flowers as long as they receive adequate sunshine and attention. Several suggestions for integrating vegetables, herbs and fruits into a city or patio garden are presented.

Pulmonarias
Article Abstract:
Pulmonarias are hardy herbaceous perennials belonging to the borage family, Boraginaceae. Pulmonarias grow best in dappled deciduous shade with a light mulch of decomposing leaves like that found on a forest floor.
