The Old House television show takes up the Bradford Heald House of New England for its 25th anniversary project. The hope of the team is to bring it forward to usefulness by converting the barn to living space, modernizing the old ell, and returning some of the Greek revival essence to the main house.

Different methods involved in the renovation of an 1849 New England farmstead house for its 25th anniversary house using scarp materials are presented. Some of the structural designs include low ceilings, full-height staircase, dark green elongated windows and handmade ceramic wall tiles.
