Particular particles: International Pate de Verre
Article Abstract:
'Particle Theories: International Pate de Verre and Other Cast Glass Granulations', an exhibition held at the Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village, Millville, New Jersey presented works by the French artist Henry Cros and other artist working in pate de verre. Henry Cros discovered the way to form pate de verre in the late 19th century by melting a glass paste in both open and closed molds through ancient Egyptian technique.
