Architect Phillip Ceradini of Mount Kisco, New York illustrates three proposals in which to curb appeal with changes that are in keeping with the scale of the 1,500-square-foot 1954 ranch-style home in Westchester County, New York. Each proposal has its own price tag and includes enhancing the roofline with dormers, adding a portico, and repaving the asphalt driveway.

AHS gift shop gets facelift

The Cottage Shop is a newly opened gift shop in the AHS Visitor Centre during this spring. It has been restocked with high-quality garden-related merchandise, goods and an extensive collection of AHS books such as AHS Encyclopedia of Plants and Flowers.

The gift of Marco Polo Stufano

Marco Polo Stufano was the first director or horticulture at Wave Hill, a public garden overlooking the Hudson River owned by the New York City. Under his guidance the garden grew to over 3,000 species of plants, many of them from the United Kingdom.
