An early 1900s abandoned Tidewater cottage along the RappahannockRiver in Weems, VA, was bought by Bill Westbrook and restored with the help of architect Charles Aquino, interior designer Jo Anne Hale and builder Jimmy Price. Neutral colors serve as a backdrop for Westbrook's collectibles.

Overcoming clutter
Article Abstract:
A busy family of five managed to get rid of clutter and keep things organized with a built-in storage space. Made of laminated birch plywood and trimmed in oak, the storage has a locker for each child, a seat for changing shoes, pegs for coats and jackets and a pull-out drawer.
