Rooted in Chicago: fifty years of textile design traditions
Article Abstract:
The role of Chicago in textile design was due to the influence of five professional textile establishments which trace their roots to Chicago. These establishments were founded by Angelo Testa, whose influence on other textile designers led the way for the commercialization of prints.

Article Abstract:
The fabric artist Ke-Sook Lee's recent work 'Stitches from the Garden', consisting of large aprons, arm pillows and various smaller pieces, is illustrated. She draws inspiration from the duality of having roots in two countries and is famous for her needlework and embroidery.
