The spring season proves to be a suitable time to plant squill bulbs. Noted for their bell-shaped blossoms, these plants are inexpensive and easy to grow. Two of its varieties, namely Spanish bluebells and Siberian squills, have attracted the attention of Southerners.

Ryegrasses can enhance the beauty and vitality of gardens during winter seasons. To avoid frequent mowing, ryegrasses can be planted in beds rather than in the lawns. Small packets of the ryegrasses seeds can be purchased at garden centers for only a few dollars.
