More control, fewer headaches
Article Abstract:
Custom carpenter Ralph Zuke has learned from experience that it is better to do more of a kitchen remodeling job himself to gain more control over the job than to work with too many subcontractors. When too many people are involved in a single job, communication becomes more complicated, especially when the homeowner acts as a general contractor. Zuke now designs, makes and installs kitchen cabinets himself rather than depending on others to do the job right.
