A lakeside cabin in Darden Lake, MS, offers its residents an ideal vacation home when skiing, boating, fishing and canoeing. The cabin was originally a pavilion which was gradually remodeled to include a loft, bedroom, bath, kitchen and deck, and is mostly constructed of wood and stone.

Architect George Israel transformed a 12-foot-square room into a study with separate workspaces for a husband and wife on opposite sides of the room. Storage and display are maximized through the installation of floor-to-ceiling built-in cabinets, drawers and adjustable shelves.
