Susan S. Frackelton, a Milwaukee native, launched 'Frackelton's Decorating Works' in her hometown in 1877 and was a pioneer in the world of china decoration. She was inspired by naturalism and intent upon incorporating native plants and landscapes in her china decorations.

Louis Icart: naughty boy of art deco
Article Abstract:
Louis Icart produced over 1,000 oil paintings, drypoints and etching from the 1920s to the 1940s, and is best known for etchings of sexy, fashionable women. His work sold well in France and the US, and his etchings recently sold for as much as $4600.
